Gauguin in the 21st Century

The Southern Nevada Museum of Fine Art
Founded in 2002, is a non-profit 
501c3 organization which moved downtown to the Neonopolis in 2008. It presently features over 20,000 square feet of exhibit area, with a main gallery, a special exhibitions gallery, and a small works gallery. The SNMFA Emporium provides exhibit space for local, regional and International artists to display their current work.
Our Mission
The Southern Nevada Museum of Fine Art (SNMFA) deems itself a showcase museum dedicated to raising awareness for a range of fine art, providing an opportunity to appreciate a variety of art for the local community and visitors to Las Vegas. The Museum strives to distinguish itself as exceptional by providing intellectual excellence and leadership with respect to the visual arts. Our goal is to promote an understanding and appreciation of art by making accessible to the public fine art exhibitions, educational programs, and cultural events designed to enhance the quality of life for the community.

General Admission: $5.00 per person
Group Admission (5 or more) $2.00 per person
Children 12 and under admitted Free with paid adult admission.

Exhibition Hours 
Wednesday - Saturday, Noon - 5.00 PM.

The Museum is located on the second level of Neonopolis Complex, at the east end of the Fremont Street Experience, between 4th St. and Las Vegas Blvd., in the heart of downtown Las Vegas.
The Neonopolis features two levels of parking below the building. Entrance to this underground parking garage is on 4th Street. The First hour Free. There are additional parking ramps and lots adjacent to the Neonopolis Complex.
Donations Greatly Appreciated
The Southern Nevada Museum of Fine Art is a non-profit organization that depends upon admission fees, membership dues and donations.
The Museum has no endowment or corporate sponsors, although either would be greatly appreciated. Expenses incured in operating the Museum year round are significant and we welcome all donations no matter how small.

The SNMFA now offers Art Authentication Assistance to patrons, museum members and the public, who wish to know the factors that concern the appraisal value of their art.

This should be viewed as a cost effective prelude to determining whether your art is of sufficient value before soliciting the costly services of a licensed appraiser.
Our service is focused on the physical properties and or forensics of a print or painting.
Print opinions start @ $30 per unit 
Painting opinions start @ $50 per unit
We also can make referrals to a specialist ifadditional investigation is warranted or a registered appraisal is required.
